SALSA Rewards

SALSA are single token incentivized pools which give rewards and determine the staking level for each user. Projects will be able to manage their pools to promote themselves.

Single Asset Liquidity Staked Alone pools (SALSA) are single TACO token pools which give other tokens as rewards.

SALSA pools can be managed on the Projects Account section by project owners and representatives.

Staking

Users can stake TACO in a single SALSA pool which gives them specific rewards.

Example: Stake TACO to the NeftyBlocks SALSA pool. This pool rewards users of 100 NEFTY per day based on their pool share. By owning 10% of this SALSA a user gets 10 NEFTY per day.

TACO can be staked into the pool at any time. Unstaking can be done 72 hours after the last stake.

All TACO staked inside SALSA pools determine the staking level of the user. The higher the staking level, the lower the fees paid to swap tokens. Learn more about staking levels.

Staking into SALSA pools can be done with either the WAX wallet balance or with the TACO inside the My Account balance. Get to know more about My Account.

Rewards

Rewards are distributed to the user's Taco Swap Account every 24 hours.

All users are able to claim their rewards and can automatically send them to their main wallet.

Pool Set Up

Rewards are set up directly by the projects directly from inside their dashboard. They must indicate:

• Amount of tokens to distribute for each drop

• Total amount of the pool

SALSA pool owners can change the pool parameters and send tokens to refill the pool anytime.

Each SALSA. pool will show also this information:

• APR

• Number of days until the pool rewards expire.

Leaderboard

All SALSA pools have a weekly ranking: their position within the leaderboard is determined by the number of TACO staked inside each pool.

Every week, the top-3 pools are rewarded with a 50 TACO/day bonus for their connected M.E.A.L pool which gives the chance to distribute added rewards.

A connected M.E.A.L. pool is a WAX/TOKEN pool where TOKEN is the reward given in the SALSA pool.

Example: Alien Worlds SALSA Pool - with TLM as reward - finishes top 3 during the week. The connected WAX/TLM M.E.A.L. Pool gets extra rewards of 50 TACO per day in addition to its other rewards.

💡 Taco SALSA pools (with rewards in TACO, SHING & ONI) can't access the leaderboard and rewards.

Advertising for Web3 Projects

SALSA pools are a fantastic opportunity to advertise your Web3 projects.

Projects can redistribute rewards in their SALSA pool and allow more to earn their tokens by staking.

Furthermore, they gain extra benefits and rewards in TACO for their MEAL pool, which is an incentivized liquidity pool and a great way to stabilize tokens in exchange of giving rewards to users.

The more a SALSA pool is incentivized, the greater outcome on the MEAL.
